Why does a lawn look better when it's cut lower?
i just noticed this after cutting mine,
it makes it look fuller

The leaf can stand up straight more easily, when its shorter. There is less weight causing it to bend over. Plus the closer to the ground the larger the leaf is. It tapers as it grows taller.
