Find a used tandem axel for that price, I paid 1000 for a 6.5 x 16 with brakes, trimmer racks, storage rack on front, and built in hand tool holder. Look around there are thousands of them for sale.

I already got the enclosed trailer, I dont want another 16 ft one just somthing smaller for some of the narrow streets I have to go down. I thought it was alittle high to. Anyone one in New England got one for sale? I am willing to go a few hundred miles.

I paid $895 for a 6x12 in August of 2003, I don't know how the prices have changed since, however.

I think between the 1000-1200 range. I would give them both a call.

Why are trailers so expensive in the north? I bought a new 6x12, gated rear, with new wheels and tires for around $800, tax made it about $875. I would agree with the guy who said look around for a used tandem axle (floating axles if you can find one) if you are willing to spend that much money.
