RedMax 7001 great machine, 8000 is heavy, I returned the new Stihl 4 Mix 600. Felt weak.

I use the Red Max 7001 and it works great! I can't imagine not owning Red Max equipment...

The only problem is if you want to blow a lot of leaves. br600 has nothing on the ebz. We even talked to a stihl dealer the other day and he told us the 8000 has way more power.

Thats true, if you go to a dealer that sells both, they will say get a redmax if you want power. The last dealer we talked to, just hung his head on the stihl subject.

I've ran stihls for years. I bought a br 600 for 499 plus tax. love it, only thing is on/off switch can't master that one yet. talk to the dealer about which one they see back for problems and the throttle cable thing scared me so I didn't buy that one. I think some guys talk about the different from x to y and make it sound like one blower can blow a house down compared to the other, its not like that they all blow about the same. which one do you like? what one gives the best dearer support? I live over a hour from all my dealers. I can't afford down time? I have to go with whats reliable. I chose stihl. what do you need?

BR 600 is the way to go. I'll race anyone with a redmax through some bushes and come out the other side way ahead. Redmax gets caught up to easy. The br 600 has plenty of power. 720 cfm

Do your self a favor and stay away from Shindaiwa blowers. I love their trimmers and use nothing else so when the time came for a new blower I tried a EB 8510. It’s quieter and better on gas than my old Redmax 7001 but it’s not as powerful and I’ve had nothing but problems with the throttle cable since new.

Add another for the Red max 7001, not to heavy and blow its butt off. Very happy with it.

Redmax or Echo. 7001, 8000, 755 can't beat any of them!!

Ahhhh, blower wars never get old for some reason. The other day I happened to be doing a leaf cleanup 2 houses down from some employees of another company. I know the owner and all he buys is redmax blowers. They run all 7000s except for an 8000 that disappeared off of one of their trucks. I took a second to watch them blowing leaves and I can tell you a BR600 will handily out-blow a 7000 no question. I saw it with my own eyes. Go with a BR600 or (for the really big stuff) a RM8001. Everyone knows by now the 8001s are the most powerful, but the BR600s are simply the best all around blower.

I highly recommend the BR 600 4-mix backpack blower. This is the most powerful blower I have ever used. It will move grass, leaves, gravel, snow etc. Mine is two years old and still starts first pull!

I agree shindaiwa c4 has more power than I need (most of the time).
I hardly ever run it wide open. easy to start and good fuel usage.
