8' plus mower question

Does anyone here use a wide area mower, and if so what brand? We're thinking about getting a bigger mower this spring and know nothing about them. We currently use a 61" Scag and 61" Ferris riders.

I run two 455 D toro's. Both have a 10.5 deck, 50 hp I believe and cover some ground. I am looking at selling one if interested??

You'll need a lot of flat ground to make use of a 10.5 foot wide deck. In Iowa you probably have that. Here in S. W. Missouri, flat ground is as rare as top soil.

I have the same thing as Meets1, Toro 455-Ds. They're nice if you're doing flatter areas, and they don't even have to be that flat.

You can raise either side deck, or both, to get into tighter areas.

Mine's got a 60 hp, which I'm sure that Meets' the same way.

Mine's a 2001, with about 500 hours on it, looking to sell it too.

Oh yeah, I put cruise control on it as well.
