My friend, who I do clean-ups with runs the exact same thing, minus the V10 in your truck, but his is dirtier

my truck is actually the 5.4L v8.. glad its not the v10 because i can hardly keep gas in it with the box on.

Look pretty close to my setup. I got the same insert as you do. ( I took black spray paint to the yellow downeaster, I'm not in the business of advertising for others) My loader is on my trailer though. How high is your box? Mine is in the 10'3" range. You can feel the weight when towing the trailer and have a full load in the box. You must be close to being done for the year. I have 14 cleanups left, Should be done by wednesday.

i use an exmark navigator, redmax7001 blower, rakes and tarps. with 2 people i can get an average sized cleanup done in about 2-3 hours.

Mine is 11'6 at the highest point. i think im going to take the the downeaster decals off i dont like them either. ive got 11 cleanups left i hope to have done by wednesday aswell because its going to rain after that. im real glad i got the loader this year, i wasnt going to but i dont know where i would be if i didnt. The only problem i have with my insert is the there is so much wieght on the rear with the loader on it that it wont come back down. I just use a ratchet strap and get it started then im all set.

I have the same problum on my dump trailer. I bought a winch from harbor freight to do it. Bad Idea, the winch is too powerful, and on of my guys did not do it right one day, and screwed up the cylinder on the trailer. I will get it fixed after the season. I am going to inquire about adding a two way system to mine.
Like the set up.

Thanks for all the good feedback! I figured if i was going to do it i wanted to do it right. Ive seen some ugly leaf boxes around here. Hopfully i can take it off soon! Im still waiting on my polycaster to come in. Hopfully I have it by the first snow...

Looks great! I have a 01 F-350 with the 5.4 it has plenty of power but when the leaf box is on and pulling a trailer I think I can actually watch the gas gauge going down.
