View Full Version : Bob Cat Classic?

I went to the Bob Cat dealer the other day to check out a few walk behinds. I looked at the bob cat classic and the only two things that made me a little sketchy was, it didn't have a kawasaki engine on it, and also it only had single wide drive belts. If anyone has a bob cat classic or knows well about them, could they please let me know how they work, and how they hold up. Or is it just better off spendin the $1000 for a full feature gear drive bob cat. Thanks so much!

i have a 2003 bobcat classic with a 15hp kohler command pro. i've had my mower from day one and i've changed the belts 3 times. the single belt isn't as bad as you think. it does slip a bit when its extremely wet (ie rainstorms) but who cuts when its pouring anyway. as far as general cutting check out your other thread about bobcats/lesco and you can see my bobcat stripes without rollers.
