Gasoline Fuel Fitting Thread Sealant

Do any of you have good recommendations for a sealant to go an plumbing threads used for gasoline transfer?

I have a 15 gal Blitz Portable Fuel Station Tank and I am fitting it with a portable Fuel Transfer Pump from Northern Tool. I broke a brass coupling tonight while tightning the threaded connections to try to stop a leak. If I can find a good thread sealer that the gasoline will not eat up, I will be able to finish putting my plan together without breaking any more components.

I use nothing but Teflon tape on fuel fittings, Just plumbed up a 100 gal. fuel trailer with a 12 VDC pump and gallon meter for 100 octane aircraft fuel.
