BEST SERVICE is number ONE. Both are great machines.

Toro for me due to the Service dealer is number one. If I'm down it's back the same day or next.
the Turf Tiger ZTR is the best cut like a Walk Behind but is 9300. The W?B is the best cut period.

28 efi or 27 kaw is about as large as Toro puts out right now. So if a large hp engine is not needed either should do fine. In fact you never hear a complaint about the toro deck and I'm pretty much an Exmark fan. If you need a high hp gas powered mower then Exmark would be the only option between the two. Basically the same machine other than decks, hp options, etc.....

Toro does offer a 30HP Kohler, and of course the 27HP Diahatsu diesel is an option not high HP but you will not have to worry about power. I think the 23HP Kubota would be a excellent choice especially on a 60" deck.

I wouldn't consider the 30 hp Kohler. Too many complaints, I would take the 27 kohler or 28efi as my only options as far as non diesels go. If they come out with the 28 Kaw that would be an option. I knew they came with the 30 but didn't think anyone would buy it, Exmark sure dropped it fast. The 27 diesel would be a option if cost is not an issue. With Exmark you have the 28 Kaw, 29 efi Kaw, 31 Briggs, and the 35 briggs if you want to go to the XS line so I still think if you need more than 28 hp Exmark has a better selection (gasoline)but for most the 27 or 28 hp would be plenty.

I agree. I wish toro had the briggs vanguard engines on them like the exmark xs series does.
