I found a nice 97 Mustang 2070 with ~650 hours. Full cab. Appears to be in excellent condition, starts instantly, runs strongly. $9000. Do you think that's a reasonable deal.

Thanks for your help!

I'll say go for it ,Mustang is a simple and reliable machine.

Mustang and Gehl are one and the same...I'm demoing a Mustang MTL 25...nice machine thus far. This one is a 2004, but they want 39k for it (cab with air and 340 hours).

Glad to see you're back, Doug. Done buying stuff yet?

Noooo! The track machines are identical except for paint, but the wheeled units are different. Different engines, different chassis. (said in jest -- no offense!)

You sure? I was under the impression that the large Gehl and large Mustang were the same unit. Can't remember model numbers, sorry, but the big one with 100+ horsepower. The difference between the Gehl and Mustang unit looks extremely minimal. What about the smaller units?

The 2109 and 7810 are the same unit. (The 2099 and 7610 are also the same, as are the 2105 and 7800, and 2095 and 2600.)

The smaller units -- Gehl's 6640 and down and Mustang's 2086 and down -- do not share engines or chasses (chassises?). I'm not sure about the drivetrain. Cabs should be the same.

I'm pretty sure that back in 97 mustang was on it's own ,I had a 1996 2040 mustang and gehls look totally different ,Now Tigerotor is right ,The large machines share everything but the decals.
