Kohler Aegis Is it better? Why not on all brands?

Any one have the story on Aegis 23 hp Kohler? I am still trying to decide which mower to buy. The more I look the more confused I get. The DC have the extra filters, and coolers, but out of my price range. The scags are built I think heavier than the others but ride too rough. The Toro and Exmark seem to be the choice of the majority. With the additional air cleaner offered for the Kohler 23 Command Air Cooled it seems it may be a good choice. Then I see this water cooled Kohler on a Bush Hog. Seems like a good Idea. But don't see it offered on everyones mowers. How Come?

Dixie Chopper put a couple Aegis engines on their mowers and tested them out. They had to many cooling problems and scrapped that idea. This engine has 2 half moon radiators shaped sort of like this. () This was all on top of the engine.
