Is $139.00 for a new Stihl BG55 blower worth it for the money.It appears to be a prety good deal.Can you share your thoughts on this unit. Thx

sounds like all it's worth do you use a blower much.

I have one that gets used alot. I think its a great lil blower and surprising how strong it is. I think its a ''sleeper'' in stihls line up that most dont know about

They are feally good blowers and very powerful. I was going to have my Father In-law get one to replace is Weedeater brand that quit on him, but I got a call from my dealer about the BG85 (Commercial Handheld) that was a rarely used Demo for a really godo price, so I called him about it and he opted to get the BG85.
It being a Stihl, as long as it is taken care of and maintained well, you should never have to buy another one...

Got a Stihl handheld thats about 18 years old, still going strong but not as easy to start as it used to . Added some alcohol to last fuel mix and I think thats cleaning it up a bit, it started with only 5 pulls this morning , temp about 45. May change spark plug, the one in it is old but looks good, even though my dealer mechanic says its ok. Can't hurt.
I'm thinking about a backpak model as the handheld gets tiring after a while.
