I am in a position to buy an Echo Trimmer at Cost. I need some feedback on which trimmer I should buy. I will be doing yard edging and light to medium trimming on 1/4-1/3 acre lots on 10-15 clients. Any suggestions ???

Get the SRM261T and it should last you a lifetime......or the SRM230. I was surprised when I looked at the weight comparsion on these two models to see that the 230 weighs more than 261T?

check out the PAS series. then you can have a bunch of tools and one power source, you buy the power source then can use it for trimmer and you said you would be edgeing too so you can put on the stick edger attachment.
looking at buying one myself, for hedge trimmer/stick edger/another trimmer

I have had great success with a 260 PAS series.

I like the PAS260. You can use various attachments, like a edger, trimmer, hedge trimmer and pole pruner. I have had great luck with mine.

I like them for there power but have seen the same guy blower up 3 of them.

I have an SRM-210 and it does quite well. I am considering purchasing a SRM-230 in the spring.
