The Front yard of my new house is freshly laid Centipede Sod. It's been done for about a week. I'm sure its being negelcted, I've watered a couple of times. But should I fertalize??? Like Scotts Turf Builder??? Or leave it alone for a while?

Been watered a couple of times? A couple times a day right? A starter should have been put down when the sod was installed.

I'd water it a lot and wait with the fertilizer until you mowed it a few times.

No, it's not to early. You should put down some fertilizer but DON'T work it in. You should get a fertilizer with a phosphrus level twice the amount of the nitogen. Something close to a 12-25-10 would be good for the first fertilization.

A month and no follow-up, hope you figured it out.

Easy on the fertilizer with Centipede. It does not like alot of nitrogen. I have a good program for Centipede somewhere, but can't put my hands on it now. If I find it later I will post it.
