What are some great things to be doing right now to make money in Florida?

Definitely mulching, constructing beds, pressure washing is real big for us right now too. I wouldn't recommend sodding personally. I've looked closely at a lot of the sod coming from south FL and alot of it is crap. We've gotten a lot of unusual cold spells as of late. JMO.

You could buy a raft and use it as a shuttle to and from cuba and maybe the Yucatan

We are still setting up new accounts for lawn care. We have not experienced a slow down yet. Go for the clean ups with mulching and sod, then sell them year round service.
