Bummer. I don't think I would ever use anything other then a truck/trailer. I think those giant things look silly. Not to mention no one else uses them around here.

lol... down here if you don't have one... you are planning on getting one. Trailers are a complete pain in the arse if you have several crews. I don't think it gets any more professional than an Isuzu NPR.

No doubt about it, that sucks...

Where is pictures of the van!!! :)

That SUCKS Lawnworks!! How much is it gonna cost to get that fixed? I agree with with you that if you don't have one then you are wanting one. I don't have any complaints about mine. It is taking a little time to get used to the tail swing and it drags sometimes turning onto a steep driveway but nothing that is a big pain.

Looking at the pictures, it looked like the expanded metal on the gate was tore up pretty good, but it looked tore up on the right side and the van appeared to have hit on the left side. This accident may have been a blessing, as the vans insurance will likely have to fix or repair the whole dovetail, getting you a new good looking tailgate in the process!

so hes gonna fix it right

I hope so. I am getting the accident report today and I am going to call his insurance co. I have already had the dovetail replaced. It will be a blessing if I don't get any grief from the insurance co.... the gate was going to need some work... not only was the mesh coming off but the guys hit the thing on the gas station cement post a few times so the gate won't hardly shut.
