For shop techs, how does your shop use oil from quart jugs, gallon or bulk 50 gallon drums ? Is it more cost effective to use from 50 gallon drums or just as easy to buy cases in quart size ?

We buy cases and resell the qrts. as customers need them. The only oil we ever got in bulk was 50gal drums of 2cycle for larger customers.

We use quart cases, Gallon jugs and buckets for our heavy equipment.
Also 40 Gal. drums for 2 and 4 cycle ATV oil, The drum is much cheaper than quarts for shop use and we have quarts for customers.

500 gal bulk tanks for hydro and engine oil. Each service truck has 40 gals each on board, plus 40 for waste oil. 55 gal drums for 90 wt gear oil, coolant and washer fluid. 35 gal drums for grease, a couple small 5 gal pump pails for special fluids. 30 wt qts and 2 cyl qts for the small stuff.
