Hi. Anyone tell me where I can find a landscaper truck bed that has the front part that dumps for clippings etc. We use Walker GHS machines & dump on the front of a 20' gooseneck trailer. Takes awhile to unload a days worth of grass clippings or leaves after running 2 machines all day! :dizzy: I saw a neat bed called Land King but can't find the company. Also an EZ Dumper, same problem.

Are you talking about the dump inserts, that go inside a bed of a pickup but still have the capibility to dump?

Hi. No that isn't what I'm looking for. The ones I'm looking for go on a truck like an Isuzu LCF, 16 - 20' long w/ a beaver tail & ramp at the back. Thanks for the reply & the links.

You could probably make a hydraulic insert to go on top of the bed. Kind of like what some guys are doing to modify their trailers.

Yeah I've thought of trying that. Got a picture of one? I just need ideas. Also, dumping w/ the Walker, I would need to keep it low profile so that I can dump or ramp up to it. Thanks

You should be fine just driving up the tailgate/ramp & dumping into the "dump bed" at the front of the bed. How many mowers are you carrying though? That might be one really long truck if you need to carry more than one or two.

Usually carry three mowers. We do that on a 20' trailer. Gets really full after awhile! That's where we use Walker's tilt-up deck feature if we run out of room. That's one reason we would like somehing different. The city has a lawn debris dump about 2 miles from where we do most of our work. If we had an easy way to unload, we could just go dump to keep from getting so overloaded. Have you ever weighed a load of wet grass? We did once, the whole load was over 17000 lbs. That on a 3/4 ton pickup & 7000 lb cap trailer. Needless to say, I've never allowed that to go again. Everything was bottomed out! Equipment is too expensive to abuse knowingly. I had no idea that it would be that heavy. any way, I got a little off subject. Leaving now so won't reply till later.

FT Felling Trailers, They make a front (side dump) Trailer, With a 16-20' deck.
They are great people. Their site is www.felling.com. It`s a dump trailer up front, with a deck in the back. Great for bagging mowers.

Would something like that work on your truck? Just in a smaller scale.

Hey i believe this is what you are looking for, but i will have to warn you they are very pricy. I priced a trailer with i believe around a 16' equipment space and it was open it was around 20 grand but they do have some neat stuff http://www.debrissystems.com/index.html

I really like this setup. If it was enclosed on the back that would be even better :D

That has to bend the frame going on the side with all that weight.

I think they will make it any way that fits your needs. The side of the dump folds down, so you can back right-up & dump your clippings. I am going to use a 20' for a CTL trailer & lawn trailer. No need for a dump truck, only a 3/4 or 1 ton to pull it safely.

pjw: I really like the trailer & am going to check it out more after the holiday. Don't figure anybody is there today.
I don't know who makes the truck. I saw it on ebay. I would like to find out though.
