Is it me or does it feel like the 07' season is creeping up on us already? Last year we seemed to have a bit more of a break. This year it seems like we just got done, and now it is time to start putting together this year. Wow!

yep, it seems like it is going very fast. I think the warm weather we are having here in the NorthEast, is really making things speed along.
btw Trinity, Happy Birthday. :bday:

Thanks for the B-Day wishes all.

We do not even have a hint of snow in the air. Last year didn't deal us a great hand either when it came to snow (in our area). Plowed once all last year.

Seems like winter gets shorter every year. When I started doing this, no one did much work before April. Now we need to start fertilizing in Mar. just to keep up. If the weather is ok we'll start aerating in Feb. Lawncare is like Christmas here, every year you have to start earlier to "get the worm" so to speak.

I have seen TGCL guys out fertilizing in Dec. and Feb.

We got a break?

cuz i think i got jewed again ...

..............
Seriously thou, I think it's part of the business, every year for the first 4-6 or so you get less and less of a break, until you stay busy year-round.
At least that's what it seems like to me.

I got a little bit of cure from the winter itch. I got to mow a yard yesterday. I was called last week and asked if I could come by and cut the grass? I was thinking this guy is nuts. But I loaded up and went and got there and his lawn looked Ok. I got out and asked if he really wanted it cut and he said yea just the front and sides, but he paid full price without a whim. Gotta love it.
