Does anyone have an opinion on the new Lesco Z-two spreader sprayer: good bad or otherwise?

For some reason Lesco forgets that fertilizer eats metal that isn't SS.
You would think they would know that by now. Its a great idea but i think
with these machine i'll stick with experts PG and Z spray.

Does it spray weeds or only spread fertilizer? Stainless steel is better--for sure.

This is what you build when you have a warehouse full of viper mower chassis, then discontinue the mower. Im not knocking the machine, just the truth about how it came to exist.

How would you know if your spreader is clogged on one port and is spreading uneven? I would never purchase a spreader that puts fertilizer out behind the operator. My 2 cents.

Rear spreading leaves pesticide dust behind you, rear boom spraying leaves pesticide drift behind you. We own and operate both kind of units from manual power to diesel power. There is nothing wrong with rear application units, I perfer rear app units myself.

Just a thought but isnt that a 100 lb or so hopper?
Why spend who knows what on a machine that size and have to reload so often?
LT Rich z-spray comes in several configurations and will do much better by you.
Cost is probably similar and the support from Tom Rich will be FAR SUPERIOR.
I've been using the z-max for 3 years now with no regrets.
Do a search.

Well spoken.
If he is in this for the long haul, he will end up with a Z after wasting a lot of $$ on "want to be" equipment.

I would like to sit and spray sometimes but this machine needs to change.
If Z or PG made it i would consider it

I have 2 Z-sprays; they are built like tanks, very durable; I need this because I can be very hard on equipment. Customer service has always been superb.

They looked good in the magazine and on the web the thought of a 40/gal. tank that close to the ground scares me. I know it has a skid plate but I can see myself running down the street will a spill pillow and snake trying to catch 40/gal. of weed control before it hits the drain.
C&S Turf has the Stealth that is a sit and spray minus the tacos. You can also carry more fert with the Stealth then the Z2 from lesco. However, the Stealth is around 2,000 more the the Z2.
