Do you guys double the price when doing weed control. Because how can you price out spot spraying before hand. I do know that weed control is a cheap application as far as chems go, but if you are spot spraying that could get pricey as far as labor.

I don't want to discourage you too much but from your posts it's obvious you're pretty much starting from scratch. This is a competitive business and it's hard and expensive to learn everything as you go. You might want to try working for a weed and feed company for a while so you can at least learn how to service lawns and perhaps get some insight into what materials to use and how to price your services. Look at it this way - would you hire someone to build an addition on your house if he hadn't ever done it before? Why should a customer let you learn on their yard?

everyones prices for overhead are different so the big guys can do lawns cheeper then u and still make money because they buy at cheeper prices
as for pricing u have to know overhead cost and price from there so u make money (however if the cost is more then the comp u will not get much work)
