I have noticed that some signature lines are getting way too long. Several are 2-3 times longer that the comments they are leaving. Please consider editing your signature down if it is long, I think a few lines would be fine, not 3 paragraphs! Listing all of the equipment you own or large quotes is unnessesary and very difficult to sort thru.

Hey stone still working hard?
Remember the old spelling threads??? do = due
What are you building these days? I just picked up a Bunton reel mower with the Kubota diesel in it. I'm thinking of taking off the reels and making it into a spray rig and use the lift for an aerator and my grass seeder front mounted. I also drag ball diamonds and might use it for pulling the drag.

I have to disagree. By posting what equipement I use helps the LAWNSITE.COM viewer when helping me with a question, or responding. I had in the past kept this info in my "profile" but it seemed to make more sense to put it in my signature. I'm not bragging, far from it with the little amount of equipment and old trucks I run. What is it that you have to sort through Ray? Just scroll down. Its not taking your computer any longer to load my signature than EricELM's. When I give advice or suggestions on a particular piece of machinery, and its listed (in my signature) as one that I use, it provides a sense of legitimacy to my post.

Well, if you think mine is too long, please let me know, and I can change it. And I DO mean that sincerely. I'm not being a smart alec. Tom, that's NOT saying you're being one either. Thanks Ray.

KIND of suitable for us...., isn't it? It would have to be that or something like the verse; The height of summer, I'd never felt that strong, Like a Rock. [/I]

Guys, we had one that was 5 or so paragraphs long, just think if everyone did that...what a mess.

Thomas, if I'm asking a question that relates to my equipment I would state my Great Dane is........It has nothing to do with load time.

Runner, yours is short in my opinion.

Chuck, I'll keep that in mind. I don't mind looking at them, I just see no need in reading an inventory list of what someone owns or long quotes when it is not revelant to the question at hand, as shown above.

No but I need some ideas on converting a 15gal spray tank
with a 12 volt pump and a toro gear drive with a stand on sulky into a paint marking machine.

I am going to have two soccer fields to mark come September.
One of the groundskeepers from the school I used to have a contract with is going to help me set them up the first time.

I never read a sig line itemizing someone's junk collection. I like to read ones that are witty or thought provoking such as Samari Weed Wackers Zen lessons, and pithy sayings like "Stupid People Shouldn't Breed"...you know, that kind of stuff.

People who take the time to do a sig line should change it from time to time so it doesn't get stale and crusty.

Your going to hate me stone. I bought a used line marker from the local school board for Can $500 It has a 5 hp Honda with a 60 gal tank on wheels, the pump looks kind of like a parking lot sealer unit. It's supposed to be a top of the line unit, it was only used to mark 3 fields on one location for a couple years. It has a reel with 50' of hose and a cart you wheel to make the lines or you can mount it solid. I bought it last year when the Town was supposed to include it in the Tenders for this year. They never did it but they are for next year so I am ready for it. Call around to the local school boards and see if they are updating equipment, you might be able to pick one up and rebuilt it cheap. Take a look around for a driveway sealing company that is going under maybe you can pick up the pump cheap. I hear the lime is tough on the pump if you don't have the right kind.

I live in house. I have two dogs. One is an Akita, she's pretty big...I'd say 125 lbs. I have a Black Retreiver, he's not a Black Lab, he's a mix of Golden Retriever and Black Lab. He's not that big, maybe 50 lbs. I've got some cars around, none on blocks though. I gotta take a shower, because I stink. I think I will make some food or something now. Oh, gotta feed the dogs too. I really enjoy Lawnsite. Oh damn, speaking of that I need to change the blades on the mowers, better not shower yet. Damn cell phone ain't working, what's going on there? Hmm, I wonder whats on TV? Damn, I'm thirsty. I wonder what I could get for the Kees on trade for an Exmark? Have to check that.

Now what are the dogs barking at? Better check that out. This damn pen doesn't work. Ahh, the weather channel, good viewing there. You ever notice it's the same thing over and over, like every 30 minutes? Man, it was stinking hot today. I must have drank a gallon of tea at the last job. I wonder who came up with computer cleaning duster in a can? He was a smart mofo. Beats the compressor.

Hmmm, almost out of cd's. Need to pick up some of those. Is that gum on my shoe? Ohhhhh, it's dog S. I bet McDonalds is open. After I get this off my shoe, I'm headed there. Damn, I still stink. Gotta take a shower.
