WOW we have not had ONE snow fall more than 2 inches yet this year ... AND I LIVE IN MI PEOPLE>>>>>> GLOBAL WARMING IS A MUTHER...

So what is everyone elses weather like? I'm about to start spring clean ups in March... lol

We'll all probably be dead in 10 years or less from the new ice age comming. Have you seen the Al Gore movie; An Inconvenient Truth? I see the effects every day and my bank account feels it too.

my point excatlly klc . if everyone really did research they see that 50 -100 yrs ago is when most of the record highs were set in thier cities. i dont believe global warming. i mean like at the first week of december, everyone was setting record lows. imo its just the way the earth evens everything out .

Isnt it Funny, that most everybody Laughs when it comes to the Harmful effects of PESTICIDES..........What is Global Warming?............Now it maybe worth looking at as it starts to hurt our pocketbooks, .....but other than that, back to buisness or buisness as usual. Well we are looking at the possibility of snow and very cold temps for our area this next week! I can tell you everyone is pretty excited about it! I have studied the weather as a hobby for many years and can tell you that things come and go in cycles. There probably is a small amount of truth to the global warming theory, but not as much as Al Gore any that crowd says.
If he was THAT concerned he would practice what he preaches and get rid of one of his 5 suv's. If you look at the past records and observations you will see that there have been many hot periods in time, also many cold periods. I know that is a very elementary way of explaining it but it is what it is.

I haven't had any work in a month, I go to the shop and fix a few things and clean up. I have over 40 plow accounts and haven't hooked up to the plow once. The warmer it gets the more depressed I get.

We got one big snow fall here. We just said screw it and started working landscape jobs i.e. bed installation's, maintance, planting. Left one truck set up with a the salter and plow. the other truck has no salter jut took off the plow and running that one.

Last winter was to cold to do anything. This winter :dizzy: is just weird

NOAA had a special report the other day on tv about the crazy winter. They stated that it was not global warmer, but due to el nino, and they expected to last throughout the season.

On the front page of my Sunday newspaper, it showed a lady MOWING her grass. Go figure.

I am thinking of taking one of my new blowers back and getting a refund, and use that money towards a wb on clearance I saw.

You do realize that global warming is a proven fact, don't you.

Statistics go back 300,000 years +

Not my opinion, this is fact!

Depends on where you live its been a very good year here just hope we don't have a drought in 2007. I used to do snow removal years ago but got out of it because it never seems to snow around here anymore like it used to and if it does, its gone in a day or so.

I love not seeing snow, that means more time to get things done around the house. We will never see a problem but I sure feel bad for the small kids growing up.

Have you ever been to the Smithsonian? The planet cycles through. We had what they called a mini -Ice age 300 years or so ago.

Having said that we all need to be good stewards of the environment.

How does a short winter hurt a landscaper? I agree we need to be green in the green industry but lets be real too.

Speaking of ignorance, check my other post to your global warming. While your at it check out the FACTS from NOAA - a non-bias group.

Some of you need to read up more on global warming. It affects our weather patterns to the extremes on every aspect. That means warmer drier weather in some areas, wetter monsoons in others, and cold snowier winters in others. It is helping to produce more severe, and more in numbers, of hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, droughts, etc. Yes, I am in Colorado and this has been our snowiest, coldest winter in a long, long time. at my place first blizzard was 30-36 inches, next was 24, last storm was 8 inches, and another moving in this weekend with possible arctic type temps. Global warming isn't just about daily warmer temperatures and less snow.

up here in the north east, this weather is putting a finacial strap on alot of people.

With no snow, look for dealers to be moving snowblower dirt cheap. Mine are on sale now.

With landscapers not plowing, I fully expect service to be down, parts sales to be up and equipment sales to be up.

No money, no pay to fix. Buy parts themselves, then eventually they blow up. Then they finance a new one. Usually the way the trend works.

Everyone is starving. LCO's, Dealers, Manufactueres and Salesman. By far the worst winter in buisness in 15 years.

I'm sure there will be plenty of repo's going on. Those 600 a month truck payments get old quick when you can't even drop a plow.

From Wolf Creek Colorado, 11,775 ft. ("The Most Snow in CO"). We are down a bit from last few years. Down a bunch from yesteryear. Global Warming? I kinda think so. But hey...we've still had over 255" this season. BIG PLOWS!!

You all do realize that the earths salt water bodies together put out more CFC's in one year, when the salt in the water oxidizes when mixing with the air, than all of man's CFC's combined in all of what will be humanities life time.
This is known in the science world, but the libs don't want you to know. _Yes, I worked in the science field for several years.

In other words, nature will do what nature does, and that is the effect and result.

Not that we don't have an effect and not that we do not take care of what we have, but to blame global warming on mankind completely is just as irresponsible and a lie, as much as doing nothing at all.

Snow is never a given, you shouldn't count on making snow money. That being said, it's the worst winter since 97-98, which is the last el nino year if I remember right. Good news is the next winter we got hit with a ton of snow and made a bunch of money.
