Scotts Mower

I was wondering if anybody could help me with a problem with
a scotts lawnmower that I traded around and got my hands on
It has a 18hp kohler and is a 46 inch cut with hydro drive.
The foward works fine but the reverse does not work at all. I
don't want to put a whole lot of money in this machine any suggestions would be greatly used. thank you

Check you linkages,unhook them at the pump if necessary,maybe the rod got bent,and its just that.If not,dont put a lot of money in it,sell it ofr parts,it isnt worth sinking money into.

Thanks I will check that tomorrow moring first thing. Maybe
that is all that it is.
