Heres a picture of a truck that would be hard to beat . This is a 2008 F-450 king ranch, it was loaded with about everything. To be seen on dealer lots soon.

Those are going to be some lean, mean trucks... I hope to own one someday.

When you pay that much for a truck, you might as well get a 5-ton truck.

I can imagine that truck is expensive a regular crew cab F-450 here in B.C. is 49,000 dollars a truck like that would be a easy 65,000 dollars and for what the truck can't do anything with a regular P/U box. That is one h*ll of a expensive camper hauler.

It is expensive, but pretty sweet. Factory dual exhaust and everything. I'll stick with mine, but it is nice.

Your right they don't make a comparable 4500 pickup but if you compared Dodges fully loaded 3500 DRW Diesel pickup with Ford's fully loaded F-350 DRW Diesel pickup you might be surprised how much more the Dodge would cost.

If I ever hit the lotto, I'll pass on the 450, and grab one of these. In dark blue ofcourse. :)

I'd take something like this... the white one would be black. The yellow on looks a little goofy but still kinda cool.

personally i do not see why people spend that kind of money on a work truck....

getting in dirty and sweaty, hualing crap in the back.... etc...

if you NEED the capacity, why not just get a work truck package 3500 duallly, and stick the rest of the money in a 401K, or some other investment that will make money, not depreciate.

I saw that Ram in MotorTrend when I was like 7 and said that would be my first truck... boy was I ever wrong. I never thought I would see that pic again.

For that much money, I'd get a Chevy Topkick/Kodiac C5500.

actually there were several of these produced and owned by individuals.

not sure how practical one would be but still an interesting idea

A guy in my area has a international version. He has it all decked out with graphics down the side that match his trailer. He uses it for construction.

These truck are all sweet. I know a guy who was one of the first shops to build a large F650 pickup for a concept for Ford. He built it for a guy that hauls racing boats and then sold some of the plans to Ford. It was pretty sweet for show but it was useless otherwise. I would rather have I nice F350 and a good old muscle car instead.
