I wonder if you could swap decks and get a 7 iron off another deere?

For the life of me I can't understand why they don't apply some of those styling q's to the 717 and 727. Just the tanks... not exact replica's but the general style.

The first thought that entered my mind was that it looks like a tractor on steroids. Who's next is my question? we already have eXmark,Hustler now JD. Is Scag next?

Say it ain't so!! Not my beloved Scag, the greatest engineering feat since the Windmill? It's called the "Freedom Z" 48" & 52" decks, 19hp & 26hp "V" twin. Just go to Scag.com and click on "riders" and it's below the Cub & above the Z Cat.

Its a better mower all the way around. It looks like scag is using the old style deck too.

But you can't say EZtrac in the same sentence as the name of any of the entry level models from commercial MFG's.

These things are not comparable to those at all.
They are more in line with those Husqvarna's zt's Lowes used to sell.
They are Lowes/Home Depot specials.

The Lowes here has had some for a while now.

Z225 has 42" deck and 18.5 hp briggs, 1 piece pump and motor, $2999.00
Z425 has 48" deck and 22 hp briggs, seperate pump and motor, $3999.00
Z445 has 54" deck and 25 hp kaw, seperate pump and motor, $4649.00
We, the JD dealer I work at, will sell them all day long at those prices.
Lowes and HD only get the Z225 and Z425.
Deere dealers get all 3.
48" and 54" decks are the heavy decks that Deere makes for thier residential select series or X series lawn tractors, this deck is the same design as the ones that come on the small compact tractors(54C and 62C). Of course now you can get the 7IronII deck for the X700 series. The 42" deck is the cheaper one that comes on the 100 series tractors.
2 year residential warranty
90 day commercial warranty
