I'm thinking of buying a truck with these tires on it. Just wanted to know if these make the ride rough.

Thanks:)

It shouldn't. As long as it is inflated to the correct psi, it should be smooth.

Those are goodyear wrangle mt/r they shouldnt make it too rough of a ride but you will have increased noise. They are bad @zz tires in mud though a couple friends of mine run them on muddin rigs

how many miles can you get out of these tires?

Its a ford f-150 regular cab, V8 4.6, 4x4. For some reason the ride is really rough in this truck. I thought it was becasue of the tires. You can barely hear the truck running when it is on, so I dont know why the truck rides rough if its not the tires.

Any ideas?

I don't know...or it might be because of the smaller truck....What psi do the tires have??...I run mine at 65psi which is the max for the 285's and i have a soft ride....here's a pic..

I have 45,000 miles on mine and they still have about 1/3 of the rubber..

Arkansas Game & Fish tried running them on several of there trucks
and didn't get good service from them, wouldn't stay balanced
and several ended up being out of round but this is when the
MT / R first came out.

All you have to do is keep them all at the same psi & do the tire rotation every 5,000-7,000 miles....you have to keep in mind that the Goodyear MT/R'S are made for mud and off-road use and not so much street use....:) :)

Im not sure about all of that but this truck runs like it is riding on gravel and these tires are really loud.

Does anyone else have this problem?
