spring? The ice storm last night is causing tree limbs to fall off...

I think I'll wait until mid march to clean

I just did that a few weeks ago because we had so much snow there wasn't anything else to do.

I cleaned two of our five trucks, and filled the shops 2 yard dumpster completely.

No pictures :(

Service trucks are were its at. I love them.

We usually do our "spring cleaning" in December over the holidays because things tend to be slower. However, with being gone three weeks my truck didn't get done yet. When I went back last Monday we hit the ground running on a bunch of main line repairs that were pending from before I left. Maybe I'll get around to it this or next week.

We also use this time of year to clean up the shop on rainy days but haven't seen many of those. We're going through one of the worst cold snaps since '92 right now but we're still busy. Everyone is antsy with baseball/softball starting in February so things are shifting to concentrating on ball fields.

Fortunately all our systems are off except for one zone at an elementary school where sod was put down in November. It created ice on the surrounding sidewalks and they had to take de-icer out to combat. Nobody listened to me that it should be shut down if the temps held below freezing to prevent just such an occurrance. The city was also caught unprepared and didn't have their contractors shut things down on public sidewalks where systems are on for fescue so many public sidewalks were iced over.
