Mitsubishi Small engines?

Does anyone have any experience with small mistubishi engines? How are they compared to briggs intek?

Look at a small Briggs Vanguard...like 5HP up to 13 or whatever. Look at a Mitsubishi in the same size range...

Its not for a mower, just a power washer. Just wondering if its crap or somewhat good.

I don't know for sure, but I'd take anything made in Japan over a Briggs. Unless Briggs has come a long ways in the last several years, I think they're the worst engine out there. I do know Mitsubishi makes good diesel engines and just about everything else they put their name on(airplanes to electronics).

Briggs engines are good reliable engines and will handle just about anything you need them for and parts are everywhere and everyone services them. Mitsubishi make rock solid car engines and I'm sure they would put that reliability in there small engines as well. Buy what you can get the best deal on, either one will give you good service.
