I don't understand what the point is to using an organic surfactant with a synthetic herbicide but whatever. I have clients like that too.

Try this www.biofeed.us we use their products in our injectors. We use the balance product with anything foilar.

The Dawn works well too, I don't know how organic Dawn is though :dizzy: .

whoops....I missed the "organic" part....sorry
I dont think DAWN would qualify as organic but then again they did use it to clean the birds after the EXON tanker spilled crude oil in Alaska a few years ago so I cant imagine its too terribly toxic

Any dish soap or soy bean oil will work, you can find eco friendly dish soap or organic soy bean oil, but why, if your using glyphosate? Use a burn out type product, vinegar or fatty acid based (scythe) if you want to be more environmentally friendly.

I know glyphosate is supposed to be one of the least toxic chemicals, but its still a synthetic chemical.

Glyfosate is nontoxic , even at high rates .
It's the surfactant that may be the problem .
Here are some people complaining about herbicide use in Sedona.
I was offered the job , but , I know it would creat controversy with Sedona residents .
My friend is head of the department , so ,I am trting to help out .

Methylated seed oil.....

This one claims to be all natural:

SoyGold AGSOY ME methylated seed oil is an all natural adjuvant that can be safely used in any area in the country. Fully biodegradable, AGSOY ME provides excellent cuticle penetration in delivering a broad spectrum of herbicides over a wide variety of geographical locations and weather conditions.

I've used M-Pede soap or a splash of Hort oil. Ivory soap works great. I still fail to see why you need to use and organic surfactant with a synthetic pesticide. Makes no sense to me.

Try this instead,
1 gallon white vinegar,
8 oz table slat,
8 oz dish soap
mix throughly will kill anything! Be very careful of drift but it is organic and inexpensive

Since your applying glyphosate why not use Roundup Quickpro since there is no surfactant recommended? In fact if you add surfactant it can reduce the weed control.

URI's COOP extension talked last week about the use of organics and suggested vinegar or bleach (I dont know about the bleach). A golf course on Marthas Vinyard uses water at a temp of 205 deg F mixed with some type of foaming material to hold in the heat. Within a couple hours the weeds are black, they rake them up and re-seed all in the same day. There a company that rents this machine to the golf course out of Mass and I think he said it was $6500 for the season.

glyphosate is the simplest chemistry out there,,,,thats why when the patent ran out you see 15 differant glyphosates on the shelf
