How many of you have certs such as CLT (certified landscape technician) in installation, irrigation, matenance or other and how has that helped you in your business? Would you make them a requirement of your employees? Have you been able to charge higher rates with certs? The three CLT's consist of 24 hours of testing plus however long it take you to learn them.

I have the CLT-I CLT-M and I am working in my CLP and PGMS Certifiied Grounds Manager... It shows my bosses that I am not sitting idle and that I continue to learn about the industry.

I don't know if it woudl warrant charging more per hour or not....the employee will be worth more to you, thats for sure....
