Fas Trac Hydro's oil change

Should I change the oil in my hydro Drives on my Fas Trac/20hp Kohler 52"?

I called Hydro Gear and talked to some of there engineers and they said i would not ever have to change the oil in the hydro drives.

I still feel funny about this because I change the oil in my motor regularly why wouldn't you change the oil and filter in the hydro drives?

Please help very confused here.

We recommend that the fluid and filters be change every 200 hours or 2 years, which ever comes first.
