I was at one of my dealers today and they had a new type of sulky. It was made by Toro. The advantage to this two wheel sulky was that when you turn your always directly behind the mower. The cost was around 350+. Anyone use these? How do you like them?

No. Forget that thing. Too much twisting and farting
around when turning. The idea is to save time and wear
on the body, right? I've got a 1 wheel velkie, but of
course I would like to sit.Well, here's my brainchild.
( I can't believe I'm throwing this out there) Here it
is. I am going to get a s. steel tube about 2" long
and 1" wide and weld it onto the top of the wheel cover
at a slight angle. Then I will get another tube to fit
into it about 2' long. Then I will get a large bicycle
seat (the one with the springs) and put a gel cover on it.
Put it together, and voila!!! A makeshift sulkie! Easy to
put on and take off. It will have a hole and a pin to make
it fast.
You see, my philosophy is this. When things get tough, and
you don't know what to do, ask yourself ................
"what would Mcguyver do"???????? and this is it.:blob3:

I just built my sulky today. i looked at the price of them and i dont have 300 bucks just sittin around. it was very easy and only took about an hour and a half. i did it with a piece of 1 inch conduit , 8 inch tires, a 2 foot 2x10,a 5/8 inch axel and various nuts and bolts, this went on my toro 36"
