When do you start advertising? Do you do landscaping as well?

I don't really advertise, I have pretty much all that I want to do by myself. And I do not landscape, I guess I don't have the patience.

4wd mahindra tractor with loader, brush hog, box blade
2000 superduty 3/4 supercab w/ powerstroke
16 ft. tandem utility trailer (ramps)
2 troy-built straight shaft trimmers (commercial)
Looking at a bobcat 773 and a cub 50" zero turn

I have a full-time management job and am more into landscaping but looking at getting a crew to mow for me while I focus on landscaping. Its kinda scary since im getting ready to go full-time so Im trying to get as much business as possible. Im getting ready to get an auger for the tractor and would like a backhoe for it but with me leaving my job Im gonna hold off. Mike

Busy all winter. I was very late finishing leaves and fertilization last season (Christmas week).
I was doing shrubs, trees, and mulch until the ice. Then it was tree clean up.
Not much down time this winter!
Now it feels like Spring already. Sunny and windy.

I'm in springfield..... I'm looking for someone thats licesenced and insured to apply fertilize. I've been doing it for a customer but he moved and I'm not licesenced and I advertise it before I knew about the restrictions. Is anyone interested in sub work for me on fertilzing in springfield? I don't have any accounts right now for the fertilzing but just to be safe I'd like to have someone I can call if someone does call me. I'm looking here first on the website then I will go to the phone book. If your interested please PM me. Thank you

I mostly cover mowing and trimming I do hedge trimming I advertise fertlizing about two years ago then found out on here this year I got to be license for that but I don't have any of my customers wanting fertilizing if they have it, its done by Chem lawn which I don't blame them. This year I'm advertising Landscaping too but I'm keeping those jobs small cause of the lack of equiptment.I also thought about subing out the big contracts. If I get a call for something big that I can't handle by myself you want me to get a hold of you? What kind of landscaping do you do?

Myk. I'm licenced to apply lawn chem and do landscaping as well. I even have a landscape designer working for me who has design software. If you're interested, I'd be interested in talking to you about bidding any jobs you don't feel comfortable doing

Yeah, Im always up more work. This is my second job but my 1st joy. I havent really tried advertising yet, Ive just been doing word of mouth. Ive been doing this for some time, but I recently started Jordan Valley Landscape Company. Biggest equipment I have right now is just a 26 hp 4wd tractor w/ loader. Im looking for a backhoe for it but am also in the middle of buying a new house and am wanting to start a nursery so Im stretched thin. I might be able to refer some mow jobs if you like. I wont do any this year unless I buy my friend out.

After I posted that saying I don't have any customers wanting fertilize I got a call the next day wanting an estimate. How do you charge? do you charge by the sq ft? Yeah I would be willing to sub out. Whats your company name? Thanks for the info.
