A couple of years ago we found an ad in a trade magazine for an attachment for a weedeater. The attachment was supposed to aerate a mulch bed, allowing for better decomposition, etc, etc, etc.

Problem is, the ad has since been lost and now we can't find the info. Anyone have any help?

You aren't referring to a mini-cultivator attachment are you?

Kinda like this:

Nope, that's not it. We've got one of the mini-tillers, which is essentially what that attachment would do...

I can't really even remember what it looked like. I think it had spring steel tines like a leaf rake, but can't remember for sure.

And it attaches to a line trimmer?

You really have me stumped...

Like an aerator that you plug lawns with???:dizzy:

Yes, I believe it was supposed to attach to a weedeater; similiar to the Kombi system that Stihl has. They may have had a different style of attachment method for the different manufacturers...

It was supposed to turn the mulch or break up the top layer- I don't remember for sure, but it didn't plug it like with a lawn aerator.
