Toro 44 SFS....and the backyard mulching system

I was talking to the mech. at the local Toro shop about the new mulch system for the Toro SFS decks and he stated that I should make a cover for the discharge opening and keep using the mower....He would not use the plastic factor system......Need help with this idea...new machine:confused: :confused:

The new mulch kit for the 44" is plastic??

I just bought 2 for our new 52"s and they were all-metal.
