Right now i have all echo equipment. I do this because they all run the same gas mixture. I have been hearing alot of good things about the redmax blowers and was wondering if they use the same gas mixture as echo?

I believe they both use 50:1 mixtures

If you upgrade to a quality 2 cycle oil such as Amsoil 100:1 or Opti you can run the same mix in any machine. I like the Amsoil Saber myself. 3 years and no problems to report. Added bonus, these oils are smokeless and the machines run cooler with less carbon build up. Yes it is more expensive, but it makes more mix fuel per qt. than standard oils as well as I have had plugs last 3 years without changing.
