Changing your business name

[J&R Landscaping]

When I first ventured into landscaping, I was working with my cousin so we registered the business name as J&R Landscaping. After completeing 3 seasons, my cousin is considering a career change and is not going to be working with me anymore.

Would it be a good idea to change the business name or should I leave it as it is. We have a decent customer base and have done several 1 time jobs as well as had seasonal contracts with other customers.

I am still looking to expand and grow the business so I am not sure if it would be a good idea to change the name and go to something else or not.

Any input would be great, wether it be good or bad!

BTW, I will be changing the name to just my name, landscaping.

I was going to base it off my last name like a few guys do around here. I'm not sure though.

Things seemed to have slowed down this week.

I woul keep it because everyone knows who you are if you change it you woul have to change bussiness cards, adds, stamps, etc etc. i wanted to do this but the cost is more so i just kept it in my pocket.
