thanks, no its an 04 psd. Some people say it's too big but not in my opinion. You wouldn't believe how good of advertising it is for me. There's not a time that I pull up to a stop light that the cars next to me arn't looking up at the truck and reading the logos. I've gotten many customers from the advertising.

Hey nice looking truck, but just wondering, with those tires and rims, are they truck tires with the weight rated sidewalls? jw, cause i know alot of people trend to cheap out on tires and not get the truck tire with sidewall ratings they need. Thanks

I do agree that some people do try to get the cheap tires. If your gonna go big, you may as well do it the right way. I do have the heavy duty tires with good sidewalls. The tires are around $500 a piece. It sux when it comes time for new ones. Good question though!

That F-250 PSD is a tough looking ride:cool2: Nice decals too.
What brand of exaust is on it? Is it dual? Nice chevy also.

kieferslawn
02-11-2007, 10:26 AM
BTLS-Actually the tires are 38's. It looks bigger in person than it does through these pictures.

Redmaxman-The exhaust is a 4-1/2" silverline. It's only single and as you can see it is cut short to come out in front of the back tire. Very loud too!

Thanks guys and let the comments fly

Nice trucks! Do you buy or lease? Where do you go for graphics?

I get my graphics done at a place mimnutes from my house in Fenton called Pfitzinger graphics. He's very good and reasonable prices. For the two sides and rear window it's $180. He does all of fentons emergency vehicles like the fire trucks. Let me know if you want his address and number.
I actually have quite a few lawns up in your area. I usually spend the later part of the week up in the town and country, ladue areas.

I'll let you know when I get my next truck for the graphics. How did you get those accounts? What's your average yard( acres)? Are you looking for more accounts in these areas?Wow-some beauties out there, huh?!

I have several accounts in Clayton, Brentwood, frontenac a few in Ladue, but mostly in Olivette. I may have a bite in this country club in Ladue-still tryin for it.

kieferslawn
02-11-2007, 11:38 AM
I used to mow a lawn in that country club. Very very nice houses. In those areas the average lawn is probably 2 + acres. Most of my lawns in that area are pretty big considering the size of the houses.
The accounts started from the yellow pages. I picked up two right next to each other and it grew from there. Once people see your legit and do a good job the calls come in. My trucks have my logos and my trailers are lettered like a billboard. Enclosed trailers are a great way to advertise.

Yeah-I love my new trailer. Some of these guys drivin around those neighborhoods look like trash.Maybe they have lower prices, but not professional lookin. You used to mow in that club? What happened to the account?

To make a long story short the woman, stay at home mom with unlimited funds started to fall for me. Very nice people but i didn't want the situation getting any worse so i was pretty much forced to drop them. I referred her to a guy that she doesn't care for too much. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you gave her a bid. Its a full service deal. Mowing, like 30 yards of mulch, planting annuals, bush trimming, just about anything and everything. Even hooking up the hoses in spring and unhooking them in fall. How big of a company are you? I guess we should take this to the st. louis forum too!

I got so caught up in your story I forgot to mention that I have 2 guys working with me. We have 80 accounts with 10 more working bids...like I said, I want to hire another guy, but he wants insurance and I'd like to expand and double by business, but with another truck and hired help...I really have to figure this out...

not bad but your big tires would be less mpg because weight. Are you towing for your lawn care trailer?

Nice trucks, really like your ford it reminds me of mine. I'm running 4inch and 35's and tow all the time. What is that behind your hitch? Another bumper? Also idk how you tow with only a 4 inch drop i had to get drops from 8-10 to pull my stuff.
