Looks like a good buy, pretty clean truck for 6 years of roofing. What you end up paying?

You will never regret having a dump like that. One of my favorite things to do is to pull beside an another lco at the landfill that is unloading his truck/trailer by hand... and I just hit the switch and wave!

Sure hope that you looked at it and drove it first person, you can do alot of damage in 6 years. But, on the flip side, it does look incredibly clean.

Just put my bid in. Its up to 23000.

Naw Just kidding. How did you get it before the auction has ended? Interesting.

He probably agreed to a price with the owner and the owner is going to "fake bid" it till the end.

Hence the current bid by someone called "bidder 5". You see that a lot, especially on vehicle auctions where the reserve isn't close to being met and the auction is close to ending.

Actually "bidder 5" is the 5th bidder... I think this is to keep identies unkown to cut down on fake second chance offers.... which come to think of it I haven't been sent a fake second chance offer in a few weeks... I used to get several a day.

Oh I see. Hidden identities, that makes sense. I sure see that a lot. I know some sellers like to keep bidder's anonymous.

That's funny, I always see "I DON'T SEND SECOND CHANCE OFFERS!" in a lot of auctions.

I have NEVER recieved one. Odd.

i just got nearly the same truck, white 00 F550 12' rugby grain dump 7.3 powerstroke only 57k but only rear wheel. i got a screamin deal on it because it wont shift into 4th gear but drives fine up to 45mph. i stole it for $10,500, new tranny is $2600. i love mine and cant believe how much i can fit in it and how much weight it can handle. ive only had it 3 weeks and swear by it already

That is a nice deal. Way ahead even with buying new tranny. Good luck. 12 foot bodies are nice aren't they.

12' bodies are great, do you think i should waste $200 on simulators and buy a used crome grille

screw it. its a work truck and will still look like one if it has chrome everything. keep the money and invest it some where else. JMO I think you can invest it in your your tranny when you need it.

Hey Daricek on your F550 where is your axel sitting? We had one that was sitting to far forward and everytime you pull a loaded trailer on it the front axle would lift off the ground.

i didnt measure it but its factory, i just had 12yds of mulch in it and it loved it. as far as the axle moving, that just cant happen unless someone modified its location. it seems balanced to me.
