I own a 94 1500 Dodge ram 2wd. It had a problem with the rear brakes not working for about 2 weeks ABS and Brake lights where on. Well I finally got some free time and I pulled her into the shop and let it sit inside for about a half hour while I was changing out a sensor on the throtle body. Went out for a drive to see if i didn't screw something up with it. Looked down at the idiot lights and noticed my ABS and Brake lights where off. Well I got back into the shop zipped off the rear tires and looked at inside the drums everything was fine wasn't leaking fuild, all the springs where there, wheel cylinders where fine (replaced them last year along with the brakes).

Well anyways could it just be that it was just cold and they froze (got down to about -30 with the wind chill a couple of days)? Got to love my old girl.

Perhaps so.......like with your e-brake. Leave it set in extreme cold and you may not be moving next time you want to.
