I am purchasing a new truck. I do not snow plow and am considering just getting a 2wd truck. What do you all have??

2wd will be cheaper, last longer, and is better for pulling.

4wd is fun though

If you don't plow, 2wd.

I have 2wd and just tow with it.

Weighs less, lower to the ground, less moving parts, better gas millage..

if you plow or HAVE to drive through a lot of snow, then 4wd for sure.

If your not using a plow and rearly get snow then 2wd. I looked at how much extra mainetenece, ins, and all others that come with 4x4 and it wasn't worth it. The only reason I now have a 4x4 is because I want to put a blade on it. Remember it's not the vehicle it's the driver. I used a 2wd f150 the first two storms denver had here last year 3+ ft of it (after plowed) and I got through fine. just don't frive like a jack@$$ and you can slowly pass the ones with 4x4 and laugh. :hammerhead:

Save yourself some money and get the 2wd and even if you do plow you can still use a 2wd as long as you have enough weight in the back of the truck you should be fine. Most plow in 2wd and only use 4 wheel drive if they get stuck
