Does anyone have the carb settings for the BR 320? I can't find my book and it needs adjusting something fierce. Thanks.

For starters let me be the first to say

How old is the blower your working on? Most older br320 and br400's had a base line carb setting of one turn out on both the high and low side.

Thanks for your help...It's just not starting. I have replaced the plug. It is an older model - 8 years maybe. I will check the base line setting and give it another try. When I attempt to crank it, it will run for 3-4 seconds IF I spray a bit of starter fluid into the carb. Then, dead... Thanks again.

If it has been sitting for a while it may be that the carb needs cleaning .Also you could have picked up water in fuel and not allowing it to start. Either way a carb cleanning seems like the solution. Not much to it . Just carefully disassemble the carb. so not to tear up gasket/diaphram. Use carb cleaner and spray into all ports and especially the screen then blow out w/compressed air and reassemble.May also need to replace tank filter.

If it is in the neighborhood of 8 years old and the carb has never been touched I'd stick a kit in it, as the diagphram tends to get hard after sitting in fuel for extended periods of time. Ditto Fixdiss on the intank fuel filter and filter screen in carb.

I assume you have put in a new fuel filter?

The problem is the diaphram, with a new fuel filter and fresh gas,you can take the carb apart just watch what you are doing.
