That is a very nice mower, but i dont under standwhy anyone would waste their money on a 48 ztr, why no just buy a walk behind.

Same question about the 48 inch deck - why not walk behind unless you got an awesome deal. Our smallest Z's are 52's. But ya love the toro!

You can't sit on a W/B, plus the Zmaster has a higher speed. Beautiful mower, lucky dog!

Looks great! Now all you need is for the grass to grow.
If people did not use 48" and lower decks on zrt's they wouldn't make them.

Thanks folks ! I got a fairly good deal.......out the door with a mulch kit in hand including taxes was $7,093. I decided that a 48" Z would be a "better" approach to the various criteria I needed to meet .While it does'nt meet all the needs, it fits a lot of the scenarios necessary.
I really liked the Exmark HP 46" rider as well but am a bit partial to the Toro brand anyway. Plus, the Toro reps were more accessible and attentive that day. I may consider an Exmark WB if my needs ever dictate.

These photos were taken at my house out in Newton. So,thanks for the compliment. My route areas are in the Decatur, Avondale Estates and Va. Highlands up to Buckhead. I picked up two accounts with some acreage and a small horse farm. I'm hoping to build some clientele a little closer to home as well.

What year is your Toro? I have a 52" Toro. I paid $8000 for my package deal.
"2005" 6x12 trailer, "2005" 52" z Toro, "2004"36" wb Toro, 2 Stihl trimmers, 1 Stihl edger, 1 Echo backpac blower. This will be my first year in the business.

Nice ride. Not a fan of the the sit downs. seems cumbersome when you need to get up. We run 52 Wright Standers, and I admit at times its nice to be able to sit down, but more often then not, it's nice to be able to take a step off the machine and move things, or dump the grass gobbler.

You will be very happy with your Toro Z and any other Toro mower you own they are IMO the best mowers out there. I have been using Toro commercial mowers for over 15yrs and they have never let me down and we mow alot!
