Should I have to rebuild the carbs twice a year because of the new stuff in gas. Last year I started having issues with my blower, wacker and now my walk behind....I've tried 2 dealers and both have said the same...rough starting has become an issue in the north east due to the contents of the new gas....its causing the carbs to gum up and a piece to swell causing inproper fuel consumption

Have you tried using a different gas station? Make sure you use a name brand gas station as they can have better gas.

yeah I use shell or Mobil. all clean and read in a local newspaper that small engine repair places in Mass, RI and CT have seen an increase from 20-30 pieces of equipment to 100-125 all blowers weed wackers and mowers....They were suggesting that it had something to do with the new alcohol levels etc in the fuel

If Your Area Is Starting To Move Closer To E 85 Then You Will Have Problems Try Using High Test I Know Its A Little More Expensive But If It Keeps Ur Equipment Out Of The Shop Its Well Worth It. If You Have A Bp Around I Would Use The White Gas I Have Had No Problems With It
