How much would you charge?

How much would you all charge for dethatching a 9,300 square foot lot that has around 7,000 square feet of turf it costs us $12.00 dollars an hour to rent minuimum 2 hours usually it takes me 2-3 hrs do dethatch a lawn this size. The few times I have done it. We where thinking around $150.00 what do you all think. To high to low. W hat would you charge for similar job?

150? 12/hr rental, if it takes you 3hrs plus 1hr drive to and from rental that $48 alone. im thinking $300

50.00 per hour + 12.00 per hr for rental x 3 hrs. labor = 186.00. That is fair to you and them.

The above post seems to be right on IMHO!
If you charge $150 and it takes you 3 hours to do the job, you'll need to rent the machine for 4 hours. That means you make $102 for about 4 hours of work (once you factor in pick-up and drop-off of rental). If thats the margin you want to work for, go for it but it seems kinda cheap to me.
