I've got a Kubota L4630 and will be buying a powerrake soon. Using it for lawn/sod prep. Anybody favor Harley Rake or Landpride? What about the ATI preseeder? Looks pretty nice. Thanks.

we have a L4630 cab, we run a harley rake on it. this is almost the only task we use the tractor for, but you need to consider the cab. The harley rake or any rake for that matter will create a considerable amount of dust in dry conditions. The cab was a necessity for us

I prefer the harley rake much over the rake like dusty cedar's. We have the harley with a single roller and carbide tips. our rake will work in wet conditions and frees up more days fue to weather. the above type is not very good in wet conditions.

I haven't had any problems in wet conditions with mine i have even graded in the rain.
i like the spiral because i can get all the small rocks off the surface with it and i can even feather topsoil over sod or turf without tearing it up.

Nah, just hang it from the rafters by its toes and stretch it. ;)
I might consider it if I cant find a wider one, How much?

I am kind of new to these but what does it do? prep the soil ? if so, does it do anything the a roto tiller/and box scrape or blade can't?

Just fired up my new Landpride "harley" power-rake. It's the BOMB! Really nice results. Used a Guissen blower to cover up my seed. Thanks for the help!
