Without using brand names I'm doing some figures for spraying only.
200 gallon spray tank = 66,000 sqft
pre m 3 qts@17.40ea =52.20
weed 3 qts@17.00ea=51.00
urea 100lbs =43.50
water 2.00
total cost per tank 148.70
cost per 1,000sqft 2.25
These figures don't include anything else(profit, expenses fuel)
I just want check if this is right.

Do you mean you are paying $68 per gallon for broadleaf weed control?
And are you paying about 21.50 for 50 pounds of urea? Keep shopping--i think you can do better. Best prices go to volume purchasers.
Our local high price dealer lists Trimec Classic for broadleaf at $40 per gallon. I wouldn't pay that high.

I'm in NY, unless they accept a resale certificate I have to pay tax on the purchase and here it's 8.75% thats why it's a little high.

I was suprised to see that you are only getting 66,000 square feet from a 200 gallon tank.

Even with tax, shop around. I pay around $20/gal. tops for any number of three-way herbicides. At 2qt./A that's $10/A. Granted, I'm using around 250 gallons per year, but I sure don't buy it at one time. As a side note, I've heard Trimec 992 is going to be dirt cheap this year to compete with all the other 3 ways. I heard as low as $10-$12 a gallon in a mini bulk quantity. That's like $5-6 an acre. Nice. I have heard urea is high this year, but surely not $22 high. I had heard in the range of $15 which is plenty high enough. If it's worth anything in comparison, my program of 24-0-10 .383 Cavalcade, and 3 apps. of 30-5-10 50% PSCU with 2 blanket apps. of Triplet comes in at 4.84/M per year, or $1.21/M per app. average.

Where is this Trimec available through for this price? We use the Lesco 3 way, and it has been nothing short of a great product for us, but I'm always open minded.

Are you using the ester or amine formula, or both? This is what I plan on using as well.
Lesco 3 way was quoted around 50 some dollars for a 2.5.
Urea last year was 8.50 per 50# bag.

Grandview, I guess I really wasn't comparing apples and apples above. For a 24-0-10 with cavalcade and w/c, my cost per M is $1.92 which gives you a better comparison, since the other apps. dilute the price over the coarse of the year. My price for your tank mix at Lesco is $1.42 per M for urea ($12.08/bag), Pre-m 3.3 EC ($13.31/ qt.) and w/c at $10/acre. Sorry to lead your thread astray. My point was, even in NY, I think you could do better.

I've always used the amine, because of the times of year that it is used an ester just isn't necessary. Once in a great while I'll use an ester, but seldomly.
