In the spirit of getting ready for the coming season I was going through my hard drive and thought I'd share some pics!

This first one is the first lawn I cut with my new Triton last spring. No striping kit.

mulch.. the easiest way to spruce up a landscape.. the easiest way to make a load of cash. Love mulch :weightlifter:

Wish I had a before and after pic here... the homeowner called when he got home from work and said, "I drove up and my house looked like it was from the cover of a magazine."... mulch can do miracles :weightlifter:

They are both 6x12, which have worked great, but I need something bigger so one was sold (to someone on this site) and I am currently looking at a 16 footer. The stihl is the FS 100, I also run husq 323L's... some guys like one, some like the other. Personally I like the 323L because it's light as a twig and has plenty of power.

If you've had issue with that STIHL blower there is a recall........I'm having both of my BR600's fixed.......only one has issue though. The "one" leaks gas due to a bad valve and it also shocks you.

One has been serviced and they fixed the above + routine service for free......billed to STIHL.

Nice ...

Question about your truck. What kind of light bar is that I can barely see with the light on top? Any better pics of it?
.

RedMax - 2000 F-250, 1999 F-450.. very low miles on both!
Prestige - it's a code 3, 420 light bar.. very inexpensive yet effective. Here's a link to some pics:

bigjeepin....how many years have you been in the business? Just wondering do you have a crew out mowing and you or another guy run the dump? I really like the dump I would really like to get one this year!

Began snow removal in winter '03, so this will be my fourth summer. I am planning on running 2 mowing crews Tues-Fri, using both trucks.
Monday, Sat, and Sun will be devoted to mulch, cleanups, etc.

9500 for the truck (only 40,000 miles!) bought from a local company + 6800 brand new dump body installed at Cannon Equip.

Is the reese hitch bent down on the 450?

Is the reese hitch bent down on the 450?

It's not a reese, it was custom fab when the dump was installed. But yes I accidently dumped the bed with the rear gate down all the way and the force of the dump was so strong I didn't even notice it happen!

FYI: I don't have the update kit on mine, but I plan to have it installed before I start cutting this year.

I don't think there's a huge difference over any other mower I've seen in action...
Overall I'm happy with it, but I hope this update kit does wonders

Those are some fresh ass trucks.. etc..

I have a question though..

How do you price the mulching jobs that you have pictured there.. I was working for a company last year.. and i'm starting my own this year. I don't agree with the way the jobs were priced last year. I feel the lady priced them FAR too low.

I was curious how you did yours..

If you can help... I'd grately appreciate it.

thanks.

If I have to purchase/deliver/install: add $55 to cost per yard
If they have it delivered: $45/yard

They were both small Z's. Lazer 44" and HP 50" They fit with a few inches to spare.

I did this samme thing last summer. Tore the end of the frame and all. It also bentt he tail gait into a pretzel. I had a new tail gate fabed and the frame reinforced=welded.
