How have you been I have stop in at the thread lately and was reading some of your rants WOW. You getting everything in line.
JOSH
Yeah Josh, I am slowly but surely getting stuff going together. Sold a couple decent mulch jobs and a lawn renovation so far. No calls at all about lawn maintenance so far. Too many lowballing grass cutters. I think I am gonna put my focus more into design/install projects. Screw this grass cutting
Tom, you should have waited to put the plow on, :) whats going on up north, weather looks kinda crapy all week again. Hope to get the dump on the road by the week end.
Phone keeps ringing, just trying to keep up with all the calls. Then trying to meet with them and work at the same time. FUN FUN
I shouldnt have put the plow on at all. It was a waste of time. Just cold and cloudy today, nothing else. That will be cool having the beast on the road!! My phone is comming alive again, slowly.

..That $10 Lake County stuff is not cool. I'm just east of that in Ashtabula county and if that crap spreads this way I'm screwed. 90% of my customers are seniors.....and none of em are at $10 LOL ;)
How can anyone (that pays taxes, insurance, etc) possibly do that? I suppose with a 4cyl ranger and a cheap pushmower you could easily cut 4-6 postage stamp places an hour. just 3hrs a day of those could get ya $180. Maybe that kind of math is what a bunch of potential lowballers look at; and not so much the fulltime guys. I don't know. I don't like it anyway I look at it though. Most of my places are 1/2 acre - 2 acres and how could anyone do that for $10???
I really feel for the guys that invest everything and your livelihood depends on a decent and fair maintenance market. Even though this is part-time for me and teaching is my main income; I still don't want to see the $ and time I've invested go down the tubes. I'm optimistic though and hope this is just a gimmick that won't stick.

Well, lets hope for your sake it doesnt come your way!!! It has hurt us already, and it has only begun. I dont know how they do it with the price of gas sky high and the cost of equipment, etc. They would be screwed if a machine went down. I give up on lawn maint. I am gonna try harder for design/install projects instead cause that is where the money will be at!! Or I am gonna move!!

Thats is what we are working our schedule around Landscape beginning of the week and mowing near the end with one or two days to run and bid. Most of my customers want it close to the weekend anyway. Closer to Sat the more the price per cut. I had alot fo Pre paid this yeat as well for mowing. That create some capitol for the old buisness and tha OLD man.

Tom, missed your call today.
Whats going on any thing?? When I smashed my finger the other I think i broke my finger to. LOL its all goofy looking. Tomrrow is going to be a crazy day I have a few meeting and there all over the place at diffent times. I'm not going to have time to get to crazy on anything.
I'm going to Wash the trucks and clean them out. Check in on some bids and stuff. And Get every thing ready for this week.
Were putting up High Tens. Fence for the cows, 4 strings all around the back and front lot. I built a new pig pen this weekend, wait till you see it its big enougth to live in. LOL
Well, we did two mulch jobs today along with bed edging. Tuesday if the weather is good we are going to go by our normal Monday route. I decided if some don't need cut we will just skip them. I rather be safe then sorry. Especially since it is going to be in the 70's this weekend. Been rather cool here last week and the week before but some are actually have some length on them. I was going to try and focus on projects most the week but I better keep an eye on the mowing too.

Well I know there is a thread anyone from Ohio here, but figured why not just start a Ohio Lawn thread, kinda like the Ohio snow thread on plowsite. Be good for general bull sh*ting and what not.
So are we all ready for spring here in Ohio or what??? I am sick of the snow and ready for some spring clean-ups!!!!!
Finally it is starting to look nice outside, We did a mulch job 3 weeks ago and that snow came and put a stop to everything. Start cutting tonight, and a 20 yard mulch job this Sat. I wish we were getting more phone calls for estimates, it is very slow for us. Passed out over 500 flyer's in nice developments and only got 1 phone call  . With the warm weather approaching soon , i hope that will change.

thanks

Sydenstricker Landscaping
04-22-2007, 12:38 PM
cks, I would go to your local rental place and rent your self a bed edger. It will cut the time in half and the edges will look 100 times better, imo. Couldnt be more than 40 dollars per day to rent one. You edge, and your helper follows right behind cleaning up the edgings.

Spent the afternoon at Magnolia Drag Strip. It's nice and close, about 15 minutes south of Canton. Used to race at 42 quite a bit, but haven't been there in a couple years. I've heard they are running most of the classes there on the 1/8 mile, so I'm not sure about driving all the way out there when I can run the same distance so close to home. I'm trying to get some suspension work done so I can get my 60ft down in the 1.6 range. Should be consistent 12.7-12.8 if I can get there. Sounds like you and I could have a nice race. Might have to line them up sometime down the road. :waving:

so, is this magnolia a 1/8 mile? ive never seen anyone run 1/8 at 42....and i go there about 4 times/year....so that doesnt mean it doesnt happen...but i go to test n tune once a month for the summer and never saw an 1/8 mi run

04-22-2007, 10:53 PM
Magnolia is 1/8 mile.
From what I've heard, when they repaved the track last spring there is a nasty bump at the end of the track so they made the faster classes 1/8 mile now. From what their website says, the top, mod, and bike classes are all running 1/8, and the street trophy is running the 1/4.

Brent, a good bed edger will probably run you about 1 grand or more. I dont know the price exactly off hand though, as I dont have a bed edger. That lawn install was very fun. It is in a new housing complex in Kent. So many of the neighbors were kicking themselves for not having us do their lawn instead of the other landscapers. We were able to cut the front lawn three, thats right, 3 WEEKS after I did the job. It feels like a nice, thick, lush carpeting. I am so proud of that, since it was my first job I did.

Brent, this is my first year in business, but have been doing this since I was 13. I am only 20 now. I took 3 years of horticulture in high school and also 4 years of business management as well. I love doing this, it is my long term career. Right now I do maintenance, clean ups, landscape/lawn installs, irrigation, snow and ice management, soon design and architecture when the wife gets herself into college for it and graduates. I guess you could say I am a full sevice company.
Hi fellas, what's happening on this Monday night? Went out and did the Monday route today. Everything needed cut but it sure was dusty out there. I think I inhaled a whole baseball diamond of dirt. Even though we are up 5 inches on precip here we need some rain to settle the dust and kick start the fert.Normally by now I am double cutting. But no way am going to complain about not having to do double cut. Cause when I have to double cut, I will complain then.

Hi jpp you got rained out to.Seems like everyone did today
But I was able to get out for at least 3 hours of work and cutting. So I am happy about that. Did not get to see the weather but I heard on the radio we could have some severe storms. I hope not though.
Happy Birthday to your daughter. :bday:

I agree, with this rain and warm temps these things are going to get out of control real quick. But the good thing is, The first week of May is when I go to cutting every 5 to 7 day schedule.

I am currently debating whether or not this night has trumped my ONE-TIME shot at seeing Michael Jordan play live, at his home court, after a comeback, sick, to score about 50 points and get his team a W.
I was at the Cleveland Cavs game tonight...I'm a season ticket holder...and have tickets for the whole playoffs. The night started out great because we were greeted by the funniest, nicest, and prettiest bartender I've ever met. We have met her once before....at our regular restaurant which we visit before every game. It was her first night...our first cavs game....and we got all of her messed up drinks...it was a blast. Anyhow, she was there again....just got re-hired and given a second chance because she's so fun to be around....so that was super...
BUT ON TO THE SPORTS
The energy inside the "Q" was magnificent...I couldnt even hear the fireworks go off IN A CLOSED BUILDING because the crowd was sooooo crazy. Lots of beautiful women, beautiful plays, and the liquor was flowing. I sat next to my season ticket holder neighbor...of course.....and the comraderie is unreal. We're giving high fives to everyone around us...old men are dancing to the music...I lost my voice from screaming so often and so loud. And best of all....we WON!
BUT THEN we were leaving the arena....walking past Jacob's Field (home of the Indians) where my first ever playoff memories were created (1995). Sure enough, a crowd was gathering in Albert's Alley (Albert Belle used to park homers there every game it seemed...GATE A)....rowdy, drunk Cavs fans with a nice view of the game!!!
I got there at the top of the ninth, all tied up 7-7....and the crowd was WILD. We were chanting, hollering, hooting, slamming on the gates, screaming "LET US IN!" in unison etc. IN the park was only maybe 4,000 fans !!It was pathetic. Soon enough,I turned around to see about 30 Cleveland officers lined up...batons out, ready to rock and roll.
Anyhow, the tribe was up, BOTTOM OF THE TENTH, tie game, man on 3rd....FULL COUNT (I think)...and Johnny Peralta bats in the runner for another Cleveland victory!! Same night, same sports complex....two fantastic games.
The combination of the playoff win, extra inning game winning hit, the atmosphere, the women, the emotions, the electricity, the comraderie, etc all hit home today.
WHAT a night I kept saying...WHAT A NIGHT

Hi guys,
How did everyone's day go? Considering they were calling for rain all morning and it did not happen here I am one happy camper. Went out and got all but 7 yards done for the week. Finish those on Friday morning, then bed edgeing and mulching the rest of the day. I hope to finish that on Friday too. Get started on another one on Saturday then.
Anyone have and Tornado's around them yet? I think the whole state is under that Watch until at least 10 or later.Right now the sun has come back out again. Not a good thing if it gets reall warm again. We could get hist hard then. LOOking at the radar looks like some nasty stuff on the border with Indiana. Be safe and have a good Friday everyone.

You are in the ball park. If you have a lot weeding then I would charge more. Plus it depends on the kind of mulch you use (Dyed, Cypress, etc.). We charge $125.00 to $100.00 a yard. You have your Pre-Ermergent and rental, delivery, fuel, and so on also. Just my .02 worth.

Hey guys! How has everyone been doing? I have posted in a while but figured that I should stop in and say what happened to me today. It was pretty cloudy this morning and the meteoroligist were calling for some rain. I figured that I would do a little truck maintenance. I had the front passenger side jacked up and the wheel removed to replace a broken wheel stud. As I was hitting the stud with a hammer, the truck came off of the jack and the wheel well came down on my knee and I heard a "POP" . It was my ankle. Needless to say, it is broke and I will be unable to mow for quite a while. I am so lucky that I have a great father that just loves to mow. He is going to take care of the business while I am down. Let this be a lesson to all. Do averything and anything you do the safest that you can.

It sure is blowing straight off the lake!! Go inland about 5 miles and the temp almost jumps 10 degrees!!!! Have fun fishing and if you dont catch anything, at least enjoy drowning some bait.
Josh,
That looks like a split gate on the back of it. Were you able to get a look at it? So tell us your fish story on the how the big one got away.

Nothing much here, just working. We had a fish fry tonight it was a good time.. There was 7 of us, we sat around the work bench shooting the sh$$ and eating fish. My few of my buddys went fishing this week end so we all got together tonight.
Should have been working on paper work but owell.
Thinking about credit cards, how many of you guys accept them? "Is is worth it??
I've started to change the decales on the trucks. None of them had the same thing on them and they were just plain decals. I got a guy the is doing pinstripping on all of them and decals they look sweet. We had the flatbed done last week. Going to do the pickup next week and the dump truck is going to be last.
Dose any of you guy have problems finding good help. My one guy just lost his Lic. so now he can drive any of my trucks.

Had to stop in at TSC today and the girl that runs fork lift, WOW shes a cuite. Its kinda funny, (ask tom) i'm on a first name base with every one that works there. Thats how much time I spend there. Anyway the fork lift girl has been there for 5 years and this is the first time Ive seen her, I manger told me they keep her in the back, It was kinda funny.
Tom is busy up in the North, hes about as busy as a one armed wall-paper hanger.
Walker that sucks big time. I think I'll double check my bolts in the moring. (THANKS). Get this had a guy I know haul top soil over to a job site for me, I needed too much to make a few trips in the 1 ton. Any how found out he was talking to the home ower and told him where the soil comes from and what the cost is per ton. Then he also gave him one of his cards.
That kinda pissed me off, now the home owner knows what my mark up on the soil was. Not to boot he may call him next time and leave me out of it.

Hey everyone- just wanted to drop a friendly hello from Cleveland Ohio! I have been in business 4 seasons now with this being my second season full time. I am running solo offering full service maintenance and installs-mulch, shrubs, retaining walls, patio stone- more or less anything that comes my way. I don't have a lot of accounts but try to handle all the work on all the properties I service. I get all sorts of small to medium size jobs. I stay pretty busy- but I would definitley like to expand a bit and make good money. My question is what $ should I be averaging an hour?

I did a mass mailing in Cuyahoga County this spring and recieved about 8% of my fliers back in the rain with a message " Vacant Home" Economic situation seems grim, in light of this. I lost several accounts this week. Either they can not afford the service or went to someone cheaper...how do I single out and rein in those clients that appreciate good work? It seems like there are a ton services out there that do a slop job and get away with it...I always blow off any surrounding pavement and make sure there aren't grass clumps all over the place...lots of lowballers out here..

Welcome to Lawnsite!
I am really close to you, I live in Baltimore (work in Baltimore, Lancaster, and Millersport).
Word of Mouth is the best form of Advertising. In the spring I run an ad in the Advertiser and I put out some fliers. As far as pricing goes my minimum is $25 for small city lots. I try to get anywhere from $1-2 a minute for mowing. For a contract template go to gopher software website( I can't remember their website). That is where I got some of the ideas for my mine, but for the most part I wrote most of my own.

Whats up guys???:waving: Not too much here. Just enjoying my day off today. Been so friggin busy, but I am lovin it!!!:cool2: I may be getting rid of my 2000 Silverado in trade for a pre-owned 2007 Silverado 2500HD Duramax/Allison. It only has 5,000 miles on it and they are asking $24k. Which isnt bad for an 07 diesel. My truck is just becomming a bigger and bigger gas hog. That and my truck's trade in a value is worth more than I owe on it, so no negative equity. :) So we will see what happens
Sydenstricker Landscaping
05-20-2007, 04:11 PM
Ok I was wrong on the truck being a diesel, but it is an 07 HD LT with plow prep, all goodies, jet black, charcoal interior, etc for 24k, which is gonna be 26 k out the door with tax. has 3 yr/36k warranty and the 5 yr/100k warranty too. And they are going to pay off my 2000 with no negative equity due to the trade in value is more than I owe, so good there. Here are a few pics of the prespecitve new baby,
So since your main goal was to increase your MPG's and the new one is not diesel are you still looking into it? With todays market you should either be able to talk them down more or get into a new for for that price.

Well, I guess after talking to my accounting helper guy (my grandpa:) ) He said I should just fix mine so it will get more then 8mpg. He would rather see me spend my money on more equipment and such and save some too. So he drove some sense into me I guess. Kudos to him for being smart and his help with consulting me. As nice as it would be to have a full warranty and such, I would much rather like to have more $$$$ in the bank and some more equipment that I really need and will make me more moolah in the long run. So with that being said, I am gonna save and fix my truck up and find a decent used Walker and a push blower, which I am going to desparatlly need this fall since a few of my accounts will be slammed to the max with leaves.

Just to mix it up a bit- I'm running around in a 2004 Chevy 1/2 ton without a problem. It definitley has its limitations in regards to hailing heavier loads, but I have to admit it handles the Western Poly Pro without a problem. I know the standard truck is 3/4 ton, and I will be trading in soon...I would love to hear some comments or advice on my new purchase. 3/4 or 1/2 ton? Mileage sucks even worse on the 3/4 and for roughly the same price, my half ton has leather, power folding mirrors-which I am totally spoiled on ...so i don't know about the 3/4 ton...I am thinking i am better off buying a used 70's GMC dump which is available to me...Any advice is very welcome...

I wouldnt get a dodge if someone gave it to me. If they did, I would go trade it in immediatly for a Chevy. I am a die hard Chevy/GMC guy here
And Umbach, you would be better off with the new 3/4 ton rather than some old 70's dump. That thing would be worse on gas than 2 new 3/4 ton trucks!!!!

lol what I meant was I will be getting a new truck regardless. I currently have a 78 chevy as my backup plow truck. I am removing so much debris anymore- it just seems stupid to do this without a dump. Especially with the new accounts I picked up this year, I am trying to figure out how in the world I am going to remove all the leaves without killing myself. I was thinking the old dump would be a nice addition to my collection-along with the leaf vacuum attachment that hooks up on the back...

Grandpa is a smart man, WOW only 8 MPG's what's wrong with it? I have a 04 3/4 ton and it gets atleast 16-18mpg. I totally agree with your grandpa, get more money in the bank. I have found that usually when a LCO has the nice truck and new equipment they are not profitting much since all their money is going towards payments.

I own a Ford F-350 Turbo Diesel w/ 18' Cleveland Trailer, 48" Bunton w/ 17hp Kaw, 61" Bunton ZTR w/ 23hp Kaw, 48" Walker MD Diesel w/ 16.2hp Kubota, Stihl FS85RX, FS80R, FC100, BR420, Echo PB-650. Yes he is and I hope I can be like him when I hit 71, good shape, good mind and a great retirement!!! He has a nice big a$$ camper, paid for house, etc so he knows money and business in and out. He is a very smart man and I look up to him and thank him for all the help and inspiration he has given me. I am the one and only small business owner in my immediate family and he is/has given me lots of moral support, etc. I wasnt looking for the new, well pre owned, truck to be fancy, mine is plenty fine, it is that mine has 95k on the clock and terrible gas milage and I dont want a major breakdown, I owuld be 100% screwed!! That and the payments would be only 100 bucks more a month on the new one with a full warranty, etc. New vehicle loans have a much, much lower interest rate than used vehicles for some reason. I dont know what is wrong with it, the truck runs and pulls/hauls like a tank, just a lil thirsty. I am considering a K&N filter and some minor exhaust upgrades to help it breath a little better in hopes of acheiving 2-3 mpg more. I dont understand it, I got 14 mpg in the winter with the plow, 600-800 lbs of salt in the back, in 4x4 and pushing snow. Now with it totally empty I am lucky to get 8-10 mpg. With my little trailer and some grass in the bed, 5-7 mpg:cry: And fortunatly my plowing money went for my equipment, so the only payment I have is the truck.
ICS, since you are in the area, we should do lunch or something some time. I want to meet other people in this industry to learn all that I can. Call me at 440-942-6045. That goes for any of you guys too!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. It's good to see other people from my area. Especially Sydenstricker, btw, I reside in Willowick.... Mayfield Originally. I actually just bought the company from my previous employer. I've been in the business for 10 years as Head Foreman of the Maintainance Division of another Landscape Co., and have only Owned the company for about 4 months. My previous employer found it to be more lucrative for him to to consentrate with the Construction/Concrete, while selling the Maintainance end of the business to me. So far so good, except for the usual headaches of equiptment failure. It was nice when I worked for someone else, because I just told "The Boss" what was broken.... The next day, it would be "Magically fixed." Back then, I'd work 10-11 Hrs and go home. Now, I work about 12-14 Hrs... go Home and repair equipt., return calls, bookeeping... Etc. It's been a learning experience nonetheless. Before I only dealt with the routine upkeep and maintainance, Now I'm dismantling Carbs, and doing other Mechanical duties that I haven't done before. Anyways, I honestly LOVE owning my own business (Headaches included), & wouldn't have it any other way. I'm always looking for new Dealers, Repair/Parts places, Vendors... Etc. So, if anyone has any info about places in my area, I would greatly appreciate it. I also have a line on a few Walker Mowers for sale, if anyone is interested. He can also Deliver up to 100 Miles (Fee included), if anyone is interested just let me know. Well, I'll catch you fellaz later. Thanks again for the warm welcome and I hope business is going well for all of you.

Hey, thanks... I appreciate the kind words and encouragement. My previous employer has a few walkers for sale. If he hasn't already sold them.... He has 2 Kohler gas walkers (24hp, I think) and another Diesel 16.2 Kubota (from our fleet) for sale. I bought the one that I used to use everyday on my crew, but he still has several to sell. I don't know the particulars on the models, but if you are Serious, I can get the info.... No Problem, just let me know. He's in Willoughby Hills. I am sure, however; that he's looking for between $3,500 - $4,000 for each. Anymore info, I'll need to check.... Just let me know. Until then... Ciao.

Tom, Whats going on buddy, called and left your a VM tonight. Been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Had like 4 pages to read so I was up to speed.
I agree with pappy on the truck.
Walker, I have a good one for you, you know how u had the mower problems last week. This week is my turn LOL.
Was working on one of my trucks, it needed new plugs, wires ECT. So we got all but 2 of the 8 plugs out. Yes 2 of the rusted POS plugs broke off in the head, they broke right at the nut, so we tryed to EZ-out them tonight, but was beat. So were going to work on it in the moring. Dose any one else have any Ideas?? We use this truck all the time and can realy afford to have it down very long.,
On a more happy note, got a hell of a deal on a jump pack from Napa today.
Ok later guys.

Ronnie, I heard the VM, I was in bed though. I will give you a shout later.
Yeah my grandpa is usually right about things that have to do with $$$$$.
About your truck, I had the same issue with my 84 K20 I had. To get them out, I pulled the fender off, inner fender and had to sit on the axle and drill them out. Maybe try a left hand drill bit?? That should get in there and bite it. Give it a few shots of PB Blaster and some heat then do it. Good Luck

Tom, When you didnt answer I knew you were in bed.
Yea, we got to EZ out thing going on. Going to hit it with PB and let it soak some of it up. And try using the EZ out again. It was late and we gave up on it for the night. We've drilled them out before and had to put a Hele Coil in the hole to peplace the threads. I'll keep you posted on the out come, if we got to pull the heads to do it, I'm not sure what i'm going to do. I cant really afford to have that truck down that long. Might just pull the motor and drop a new 350 from napa in it :)

Sounds like fun:dizzy: If you ever get your damn dump going, you could use that:rolleyes: Whats a motor cost from napa?? 2000 or so?? Why dont you just get another truck and just get rid of it? But keep me posted, I know lots of places, etc to get goodies for a 350!!!
On that note, LOL!!
I got another account today. The lady and her husband are both doctors, so they got the $$$ and pay their bills on time, they are an older couple (50's) They want lawn maint, beds put in, plants, retaining walls, patio, and snow plowing. Heck I already have 12 people signed up for snow plowing and it only May!!! So things are on the slow uphill swing. I would like to have 30-40 or so accounts next year. We will see what happens

Sup fellaz? Long day for me, just got home. Trimmed some hedges on a few of my accounts, got my usual customers taken care of.... All and all, it was a good day. Nothing broke down, weather has been great, I'm working on my LANDSCAPER'S TAN. Sorry to hear about your truck. I'm a 1 crew operation with 2 guys, and I don't know what I'd do if my truck was down (I only have One). As far as dropping a new engine in it.... Ha, way outta my league. Give me a manual though and I guess that I could do it (I wouldn't trust my own work though... Sad, I know). I love to learn how to do new things, but some things I like to leave to the professionals. Well, I hope it all works out. If you are in the Cleveland area, I can help you out if you need a hand with anything, although I can't get free to help out until after 6:00 or 7:00pm. Just let me know. I'm more of a "Jack of all trades... Master of NONE".... Except for cutting grass... Then I must say.... I OWN ;) I hope that this rain that they are talking about on Friday holds off. I need to get some work done this week. Talk to ya later.

Whats up Josh??? Been busy here for sure!!! Yeah, the lawns are gettin kinda crisp:cry: Already had to bump the mower up another notch.
Got a question for ya'll. One of my customers wants like 2-3 tons of gravel down the sides of their drive. Do you just charge gravel installation like mulch or is it different?? There is no prep, just spread and run

We need some rain here in NW Ohio. We already skipped two lawns due to being brown. Had a few showers come through Friday night but just enough to knock the dust down.
We need the rain here as well. We had a thunderstorm come through about 11 am and dump some rain. But I will take more and take a all day rain to get things greened up. Have a good Memorial day everyone. Not going to cut here on Monday.

Went to the man store today (home depot) and picked up a few various hand tools like shovels, etc. Other than that, pretty boring day. I think with the gravel, I am just going to have the delivery company tailgate spread it as close as possible, then I will give it a few finishing touches. It will be 100% easier that way for me. Everyone have a good holiday and no work till tuesday!!!:cool2: :clapping: :D

Tom, we had a good week end. I worked 45 hours between firday at 2p and Monday night till 3a. We were crazy out there. We were even checking fishing lic. down at the lake :). We used Sonja this week end to. It was alsome..
We got the flat bed back on the road, was able to get the plugs out with out taking the heads off. That was a good thing. We got hit with a storm Sunday night, we had some where around 70 MPH winds, trees down all over the place, and snaped power poles off 3-4 ft from the top. It was crazy we had dime size hail, and alot a rain.
There was a boat in Atwood lake that fliped with people in it. Had a sub station blow up. Most of the town was with out power for about 30 hours.
Thats about all thats new with me.

Holy crap Ronnie!!!!!!!!!!;) That sounds like a good mess!!!! I didnt think sherriff's department had anything to do with fishing licenses? At least here only the Park Ranger has any say so in that department, but I dunno.
Just work, work, work and more work here for me. My regular customers are wanting more and more done. Now I have 2 installs, 3 retaining walls, 2 lawn installs, 1 dethatch and aereation, some hedge trimming, and possibly a sprinkler system. So my schedule is getting nice and fat!!! Got a few more maintenance customers, all of which signed up for snow plowing too!!! So I think I am doing pretty damn good my first year out into this:weightlifter: It started slow, but it is picking up nicely now. Towards mid or end of summer, I am gonna be getting a few more pieces of equipment. I see a Walker MTGHS 26hp EFI in my future:dancing:
Hey Ronnie, you still lookin to get rid of that salt spreader this year?? Lemme know, I need one. No more falling on my arse this winter:rolleyes:
