will ag. tires tear up turf while aerating?

will it tear up the turf? i hate to buy turf tires for it.

I used the bar tires on my JD 430 while areating for the past 10 years. There are pictures of them on my equipment page on my site if you want to see them. I can't turn that JD short enough to tear up turf. What will you be putting these tires on?

Ant, it should work out fine. Will you be putting an aerator on the 3 point hitch? If not, just towing it behind a ZTR works out fine.
